Progress Report:

During the design process so far, dozens of concepts have been drawn and analyzed using advanced software. As of August 30th, 2008, seven of those concepts have been turned into physical prototypes.

Motoyoyo prototypes have been made from multiple different kinds of plastic and aluminum. The prototypes have used a variety of bearing sizes and response systems. Hopefully many of these prototypes will ultimately spawn production yo-yos, but is likely that one particular Motoyoyo will appear on the market before all the others.

The first Motoyoyo is expected to have roughly these specifications:

• Material: 6061 T6 aluminum alloy
• Bearing: 0.2500" x 0.5000" x 0.1875" (ID x OD x width)
• Response: MultiMoto Groove™ allowing for user customization
• Surface finish: Type II anodized
• Weight: 65 grams
• Diameter: 57mm
• Width: 42mm
